About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer for a technology location in Boise, Idaho. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role calls for customer service, clear communication, timely reporting, integrity, and teamwork. The position pays $21.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be available through the company's Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations using site reporting procedures.
Assist with visitor management, badge verification, and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
