About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed mobile route driver to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location in Overland Park, Kansas. The primarily driving post involves routine patrols and a visible security presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Officers are expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.40 per hour. Requirements

Valid driver’s license required for driving positions, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, property damage, and hazards, and promptly report observations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information with store management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as directed.
