About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Mobile Route Driver Security Officer in Johnstown, Ohio, to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. The role involves conducting routine, unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to shoppers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal policy. The posted pay rate is $18.50 per hour, with scheduled shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, entrances, stock areas, and surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity in accordance with site procedures to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive conduct.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and response activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
