About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Unarmed Route Driver in Atlanta, Georgia. The role serves and safeguards clients at a property location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, reporting security-related concerns, and providing customer service. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Applicants must meet the listed experience, age, education, and driver’s license requirements. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may also be required before employment.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State and/or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
