About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed route patrol driver in Wilmington, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine and random patrols of assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence, and responding professionally to evolving situations. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The officer will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–2:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other site documentation accurately and promptly.
