About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a driving patrol post at a financial institution location in Frederick, Maryland. The unarmed officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, and respond to security-related needs with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care. The position pays $21.34 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The role requires a valid driver’s license. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, facility conditions, and potential policy violations, and maintain accurate daily activity and incident documentation.
• Assist with visitor, employee, and vendor access procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
