About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Huntington, West Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a chemical/petrochemical location. This is an unarmed driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. The role also involves providing exceptional customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. This is a part-time position scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $12.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and security-related policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other designated areas to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
