About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol driver for an assigned site in South Bend, Indiana. The position provides a designated weekly anchor shift that requires a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours in a week, with flexibility to scale back. The stated pay rate is $18.20 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducts regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants are subject to applicable background and drug screening, and state or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
