About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Ontario, California. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role also supports a welcoming environment through customer service, clear communication, and use of computer or tablet systems as needed. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution location, including its perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and warehouse access points.
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers; verify credentials and follow controlled-access protocols.
Report suspicious activity, property concerns, and security-related hazards to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision to help deter unauthorized activity.
