About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for warehouse area patrol in Holbrook, New York. The role provides a reliable weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and schedule. The officer may claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The stated pay rate is $19.07 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

The position supports security operations at a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer provides customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers; carries out site-specific security procedures; conducts unarmed patrols; monitors access; and responds to incidents and alarms in accordance with site protocols.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow site-specific protocols, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist with traffic flow, delivery vehicle access, and employee entry procedures while maintaining a professional, customer-service-focused presence.
