About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to patrol a manufacturing and industrial warehouse location in Ronkonkoma, New York. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a team-focused culture. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.07 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow site protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor credentials.
Maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
Observe and report security concerns, equipment irregularities, and unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
