About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role provides customer service by following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and by responding to emergencies when appropriate. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and use problem-solving skills, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $21.00 per hour, paid weekly. Openings are available on morning and afternoon/evening shifts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is ideal.
• Security experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities
