About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Apex, NC, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally, document observations using computer or tablet systems, and support a welcoming environment. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
CPR and First Aid experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Communicate professionally and document observations using computer or tablet systems.
Support a welcoming environment.
