About The Position

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Ellenwood, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. You will carry out site-specific security procedures and policies, respond to incidents and delivery-related concerns, and escalate matters according to site procedures. The position is full-time and pays $16.33 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM; Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; and Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer and vehicle staging areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor property access, verify visitor and vendor entry as directed by site policy, and report unauthorized activity or suspicious conditions.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site requirements.
