About The Position

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Gulfport, Mississippi, you will safeguard clients at a retail location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist customers and employees, and communicate with store teams. The role is full-time and pays $14.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state or local licensing requirements if applicable; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when addressing incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for policy violations, unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other security concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
Assist with access control, crowd management, and directing shoppers and visitors during routine operations, special events, and emergencies.
