About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role provides customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and use a problem-solving approach. The position involves regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

This position is temporary and full-time, with a listed pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Applicants must meet the age and education or experience requirements, and may be subject to a background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local regulations; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
