About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Roving Patrol Security Officer at an automotive location in Portland, Oregon, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, and communicate observations and concerns. The role supports a welcoming environment and represents Allied Universal’s people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.91 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, vehicle lots, loading zones, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete detailed incident reports.
Support emergency response activities and communicate observations, concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
