About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed roving patrol Security Officer for a residential location in Nashville, Tennessee. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to residents and visitors. The role involves communicating clearly, responding to concerns, and helping support a welcoming environment while demonstrating agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $18.59 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and/or responding personnel.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the residential location while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence.
