About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Burbank, Washington. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. The role includes communicating with visitors and team members, documenting observations, and contributing to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliability. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The scheduled shifts are Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.74 per hour. Applicants must meet the minimum age and education requirements and may be subject to background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local laws; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate clearly with visitors and team members.
• Document observations.
• Support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliability.
