About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Roving Patrol Security Officer in Pharr, Texas, serving a home products location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $12.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate security logs and records.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Report maintenance concerns, damaged property, and other conditions requiring attention.
