About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer to support a financial institution in Plano, Texas. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and pays $20.40 per hour. The role involves supporting a controlled environment for employees, visitors, vendors, and financial institution operations. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable state or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
CPR certification.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, and verify credentials as directed by site procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
Maintain a professional presence while supporting a controlled environment for personnel, visitors, and financial institution operations.
