About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in San Jose, California, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine rounds, report observations, and support a professional environment using sound judgment and teamwork. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Conduct routine rounds and report observations.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
