About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel. The role includes communicating professionally, supporting access-related needs, and helping create a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and care.

The position is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and pays $22.28 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law as a condition of employment.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property; report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions.
