About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare laboratory location in West Hills, California. This driving patrol position helps safeguard patients, visitors, staff, employees, and delivery personnel by maintaining a visible security presence, conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. A valid driver’s license is required. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.81 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, following protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports about incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
