About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to patrol the perimeter at an aerospace and defense location in Dallas, Texas. The officer will help safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas, supporting access procedures, responding to incidents, and documenting security-related activity. The role requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance and at least two years of security-related experience. The position pays $31.26 per hour. The listed schedule is 6:00 PM–6:00 AM on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local requirements.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and follow authorized entry and exit procedures for restricted areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
