About The Position

As a Security Officer DoD Top Secret Security Clearance Patrol in Dallas, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. You will support security operations with professionalism and integrity while contributing to Allied Universal’s teamwork-oriented, agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture. This is a part-time position with a schedule listed as Wednesday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Thursday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. The pay rate is $31.26 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee credentials for controlled areas.
Accurately and completely document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.
