About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication to personnel, visitors, and contractors. The role involves responding to incidents and alarms, following site-specific procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting security activities. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations according to site protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
Prepare clear, accurate reports about patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
