About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Oldsmar, Florida. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access and site procedures, and provide professional customer service. The role requires an active DoD Top Secret Clearance. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The pay rate is $22.07 per hour. Requirements

An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, parking locations, and the perimeter.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business information.
