About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in San Antonio, Texas. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, and respond to security-related concerns. This armed position requires an active DoD Top Secret Clearance and a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. The role involves customer service, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting while working with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency-response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
