About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring Security Officers in Nacogdoches, Texas. Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public. The role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. First, second, third, and weekend shifts are available. Pay is $11.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Must meet all pre-employment requirements.
Required screenings include criminal background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely.
Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
