About The Position

First Coast Security (FCS) is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to help maintain a secure environment at an assigned site. The officer will monitor entrances and other access points, conduct interior and exterior patrols, stand guard at assigned posts, assist visitors, and respond to safety concerns, emergencies, or threats. The role includes monitoring surveillance cameras, observing and reporting hazards or suspicious activity, and documenting activities in daily logs and incident reports. Officers provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors and are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance. FCS offers training, including support toward obtaining a state guard card and CPR certification, as well as hands-on, on-the-job learning and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

Be able to obtain an Unarmed Professional Security License as required by the state.
Be able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
Pass a drug screening, driving record check, and background check.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Be at least 18 years old, or at least 21 for a driving position.
Have proficient English communication, reading, and writing skills.
Be able to meet physical demands, including occasional lifting up to 40 pounds and bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for long periods as needed.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Complete required drug screening, criminal background, motor vehicle, education, and employment verification screenings.
