About The Position

As a Security Officer in an automotive manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. The position is full time in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with a pay rate of $15.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry and exit according to established procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to access control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and access-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
