About The Position

As a Security Officer in Access Operations in Mobile, Alabama, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide customer service. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following access control procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
Respond calmly to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, lobby areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Support a professional, welcoming environment and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
