About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for a financial institution location in Houston, Texas. The officer will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access, respond to security concerns, and provide professional customer service to visitors, staff, and clients. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and pays $17.00 per hour. The role requires fluent Spanish, at least two years of security-related experience, and at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. Licensing may be required under state or local laws; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
Ability to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment under state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.
