About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a grocery-focused location in Rialto, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support customers and staff through professional communication and dependable service. The role follows site-specific policies and procedures and requires clear, accurate reporting of activities and incidents. The schedule is Monday and Sunday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Fluent Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout grocery retail locations, including sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs with clear and accurate details.
