About The Position

As a part-time Dispatch Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Lancaster, Texas, you will help safeguard clients by coordinating communications, monitoring activity, documenting incidents, and directing appropriate responses to security-related needs. You will provide customer service and help maintain an organized, responsive environment while following site-specific policies and procedures. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a technology and data infrastructure location by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls, and coordinate on-site personnel responses to requests, incidents, alarms, and critical situations.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, activity records, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized activity.
