About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Dispatch Driver to support a utilities location in Sparks, Nevada. The role coordinates security-related communications, monitors activity, documents incidents, and assists with response efforts. This is a driving position focused on providing customer service and helping deter incidents through clear communication and a professional presence. The schedule listed is Tuesday and Wednesday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must comply with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Loss prevention experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor incoming calls, alarms, communications systems, and dispatch channels; document and relay routine and urgent information to appropriate personnel.
Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations, following established escalation protocols.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and other required documentation.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting hazards, unusual activity, and security concerns.
