About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer in Edwardsville, Illinois. The officer monitors surveillance systems and premises to identify suspicious activity, detect potential threats, and help protect people and property. The schedule is Thursday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. (second shift). The advertised wage is $20.60 per hour. Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have basic computer literacy.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
