About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in West Palm Beach, Florida. The officer will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control and visitor management. The role calls for professional communication, strong customer service, integrity, and teamwork. The officer will follow site-specific procedures and policies, respond to incidents and emergency situations as appropriate, and conduct regular and random patrols. The work environment and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $19.67 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law; licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Experience with access control and badge systems.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
