About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for Allied Universal, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. You will maintain a visible security presence, conduct patrols, respond to concerns, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide customer service. The role is scheduled Wednesday and Thursday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.75 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and visitor and contractor activity; report security concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
