About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Area Patrol Driver in San Diego, California, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. You will conduct routine patrols at assigned locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The role is full-time and pays $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday 2:00 PM–12:00 AM, Wednesday 2:00 PM–12:00 AM, and Sunday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
