About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves routine driving patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, providing customer service, and responding to security-related concerns. The position pays $12.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• A Guard Card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.
