About The Position

As a full-time unarmed security officer assigned to a government location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide customer service, monitor and patrol assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to established procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel and public emergency services when required.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.
