About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol officer to support a manufacturing and industrial location in Enka, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, vendors, and the facility by conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, reporting concerns, and providing customer service. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday and pays $20.48 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor credentials.
Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Observe and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, equipment issues, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
