About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Fredericksburg, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service and communicate with patients, visitors, and staff, and document security-related activities using computer or tablet tools. The role is full-time and pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
