About The Position

As a full-time unarmed roving patrol Security Officer in Pensacola, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location supporting disaster-response operations. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at the logistics and distribution location.
Respond calmly to incidents, operational disruptions, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
Assist in maintaining orderly vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery traffic flow during changing operational conditions and emergency deployments.
Provide customer service, clear communication, and reports of security-related concerns.
