Security Officer - Unarmed - Industrial Facility
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a construction location in McCarran, Nevada. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine rounds, report observations, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role involves carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies and responding to emergencies and critical situations as appropriate. The posted pay rate is $23.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Report observations and support access control.
