About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Management for an assigned site in Carson City, Nevada. The role provides a fixed weekly schedule with a six-month commitment, while allowing the officer to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to scale back.

The position is at a technology, media, and telecommunications location and pays $22.98 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Duties include customer service, security procedures, access control, patrols, incident response, and maintaining records.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior areas, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain required records.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
