About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a chemical and petrochemical location in Findlay, Ohio. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. Duties may include supporting access control, alarm response, and badge-related activities. The role is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $21.22 per hour, paid weekly. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Applicable state or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations, follow site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility and process areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access by verifying authorization, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access-control concerns.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and security concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Provide customer service to clients.
