About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Patrol Security Officer at an automotive location in Ladson, South Carolina. The role involves routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The posted schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required under Allied Universal driver policy for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable licensing requirements under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badges.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns.
Observe and report unusual conditions, property damage, hazards, and security concerns through accurate incident reports and shift documentation.
